41 years from Turkish evasion to Cyprus

To all HCC friends, members & directors,

We are approaching 41 years since Turkey's invasion of Cyprus which resulted in the occupation of about 38% of the sovereign territory of the republic. We all know or have suffered the consequences of Turkey's illegal and barbaric actions. 160,000 refugees, destruction of churches and our heritage, colonization with Anatolian settlers, 1500 Greek Cypriots still missing, to name a few.

The Pan Cyprian Association of Texas is holding a memorial to commemorate the fallen and missing Greeks and Cypriots, this coming Sunday July 19th at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, we are urging everyone to attend.

We are sponsoring the Fellowship coffee at the Martel hall and will have a table with literature and information about the Cyprus issue.

Please join.

On Behalf of Pan Cyprian Association,

Yannis Remediakis

President
